Michael Calhoun
Michael is the Director of Strategic Communications for the National Day of Prayer Task Force. Specifically, he is tasked with the direction and oversight of all Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, and Media/Public Relations activities of the National Day of Prayer Task Force. Michael holds two degrees, a Master of Science, Management, from Southern Nazarene University and Bachelor of Science, Marketing, from Oral Roberts University. He has worked for more than 10 years in Marketing, Development, and Public Relations in both the “for-profit” and “non-profit” sectors. Michael also serves as an Adjunct Business Professor and guest lecturer for several universities. John is the Executive Director of the National Day of Prayer Task Force and an Executive Member of the National Prayer Committee. Alongside Chairman Shirley Dobson, John directs all the operations and outreaches of the NDPTF. He and his team’s mission is to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and to mobilize prayer throughout the Christian community. John is also the Executive Producer of “Drive Thru History: America”, the latest video curriculum in the popular series seen on History Channel International and Trinity Broadcasting Network. John has spent almost two decades in ministry leadership with several notable organizations including service as a missionary and youth pastor. But his true joy is his wife, Brandi, and their five children who love the Lord. They reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
